Lake Shore Drive

The unit had the ideal bones and the dream building — but an awkward layout that buried the lake views. A gut renovation reconfigured the layout, threading steel-and-glass doors throughout to restore sight lines to the water while lending the Parisian flair the couple had fallen for on a recent trip.

White oak millwork, faceted cabinet faces, and a palette of black and brass flows through every room, the colors playing off the blues and grays of the lake.
